NEW TUNE: K Theory & Chrome Wolves – “Stutter” (FREE Download)

Teaming up for a colossal collaboration, K Theory & Chrome Wolves have dropped a hot one on us. The resulting tune, “Stutter” takes us on an adventure through a tightly fused combination of bass, electro, and trap, all while encompassing the original Joe & Mystikal effect to the T. This new tune is eloquent as can be. The intensity of the tune makes it perfect for any high-energy environment. We could picture this tune bumping at an And1 Bball tourney while we could also see this one blasting in the bedroom. NEW TUNE: Crywolf & Ianborg – “Oceans” (FREE Download)

artworks-000041589181-b02p2z-t500x500I think we may have uncovered the most beautifully produced bass track of the year right here with this fresh collaboration from Crywolf & Ianborg entitled “Oceans” which dropped yesterday on Le Castle Vania’s ‘Always Never Records‘ for FREE download. The tune features dazzling vocals over a perfectly mastered and leveled heavy bass beat. Extremely heavy on compression, this song side-chains our hearts and gives us overwhelmingly emotional vibes that make us want to dance our pains away. The piano in the tune adds the icing on the cake that takes the tune from a club track to an angelic ballad. You can tell both Crywolf and Ianborg put their all into this tune and we give them praise. Crywolf’s debut Ghosts EP will also be dropping on Always Never Records soon and we are most definitely geeked for that. Packaged with a couple unique Youtube snippets and a very popular hashtag #PotatoWillEatYou, we were itching to know the idea behind this strange little potato character popping up on all of our news feeds. A few days later our speculations were put to rest and we were excited to learn that Potato Will Eat You is a brand new Youtube Music Network that will rival the golden days of MTV. The network will play host to all original video series including titles, ”Blow Your Head”, “Cosmo’s Crates”, “Short Cuts”, “Listen Up! With Ralph Moore”, “Video Killed The Radio”, “Big Time #1 Super Adventures With Fat Jew”, and “BANG!” plus tons of video & audio premieres, DJ mixes, and much more. The first videos to be released by the future media hub is the first episode of “BANG!” (features tons of amazing Detroit footage) and a preview of “Blow Your Head” and we are very impressed! NEW RELEASE: Zedd – “Clarity” (REMIXES From Tiesto, Felix Cartal, Brillz, & Torro Torro) [Out Feb. 12]

600780_575522425810721_1884217868_nOne of our favorite mega-hit tunes of 2012, “Clarity“, from international dance superstar Zedd has been catching a ton of buzz recently. After the release of the beautiful music video, and an extremely special “unplugged” performance of the song on David Letterman, the incredible track is being reworked by some of the finest producers in the game. Scheduled for release on Februray 12th, the “Clarity” Remixes Compilation will feature edits from Tiesto, Felix Cartal, Brillz, Torro Torro, and we expect others as well. In the meantime, we will be bumping these sneak peaks of the compilation! We really love the diversity in remixes and sounds from each producer. This song deserves to be left to the pros and we approve of the jobs we have heard so far. We think you will too!

NEW RELEASE: Zeds Dead ‘Hot Sauce’ EP (6-Tracks Out Now)

artworks-000039163173-3ot75x-t500x500Since the drop of their teaser video a couple weeks ago along with the announcement of the release we have been patiently awaiting the drop of Hot Sauce EP from our favorite Canadian bass producers Zeds Dead. A couple days ago, Zeds Dead have released a minimix of the album to give their fans a taste, it held us over for a minute, but nothing can do justice to the full release in entirety. This is the most eclectic and wide array of sounds we have heard from the talented duo ever perhaps. Spanning across all genres of music, Zeds Dead can validate themselves as producers adept to any scene. Hot Sauce EP is music we are most definitely getting down to and we know you will too. You can purchase the EP on iTunes and Beatport and you can catch Zeds Dead kicking off festival season early at Lollapalooza Brazil and Lollapalooza Argentina in March and April respectively, as well as a posted stop at Chicago’s React Presents: Spring Awakening Music Festival in June. We also expect to see them on a large number of other festivals and tour dates throught the year.  Hot Suace EP will be cranking on our speakers!

NEW MIX: Zeds Dead – ‘Hot Sauce’ EP MiniMix (EP Drops 1/29)

artworks-000039163173-3ot75x-t500x500Zeds Dead is getting ready to unload five new tracks to the world through the Mad Decent release of Hot Sauce EP. The release offers a listen into a completely newer sounding Zeds Dead. Wanting to share the excitement  Zeds Dead and Mad Decent have released a preview minimix of the EP through Soundcloud (below). The veteran Canadian duo offer a variety of sounds through a number of different genres, exercising their abilities to produce diverse tunes in the studio. Zeds Dead plans to team up with choreographer Benjamin Millepied, from the film Black Swan, to release a music video for a track on the EP. This will be a huge release for the Zeds Dead camp and will be a great way to keep fans happy through the cold winter. We can’t wait to catch Zeds Dead on the festival circuit all summer long! NEW TUNE: Example – “Perfect Replacement” (Datsik Remix) [Dropping 2/24 on Ministry of Sound]

Released for listening on UKF Dubstep’s YouTube channel and dropping officially on Feb. 24th through Ministry of Sound, the grimey dubstep remix features the best of Datsik’s naughty bass and drums with Example’s gangster rap verses. Turning into a drumstep break half way through, this tune goes hard. We feel like breaking stuff to this new massive remix from Datsik and cannot wait to download this banger!

NEW TUNE: Diplo & Flinch ft Kay – “No Problem” (Flinch Remix) [FREE Download]

5548484Flinch apparently got a magnificent bite from the trap bug that’s been attacking lately. It is evident that Flinch is an undercover trap-star with this remix of his own collaboration with Diplo, “No Problem” (from Diplo’s Express Yourself EP). Flinch takes his original booty moombah tune and gives it a gangster remodel. With vocals by Kay, this track is flossin and will be an A+ crowd pleaser. Flinch was nice enough to release the remix for FREE download! Enjoy!!!
