NEW RELEASE: Buku – ‘Janky’ EP (Out Now)

Buku released his debut Janky EP this week on Pilot Records with support from UKF Music, Buku, a Pittsburgh resident, has a sound that is unique and strong. This three track EP presents a fresh take on what many may call trap or dubstep. Maybe its dubstrap (too much??). Either way, this EP is full of sounds that will make your ears thank you for allowing them to hear such noise. Packed with 808 drums and gangster samples (including one from our personal hometown hero, Danny Brown), this release is being dropped all across the world by some huge names in the edm scene. Supported by UKF Music, they released the single from the album, “Janky” on their massively followed YouTube page earlier this week. Janky EP is available on iTunes & Beatport for purchase and you can stream the release on Buku’s Soundcloud page.

NEW TUNE: Kendrick Lamar – “Swimming Pools” (At Dawn We Rage Fest Edit)

At Dawn We Rage produced an edit of Rap game’s prodigy Kendrick Lamar and dropped it at their NYE events in Dallas for Lights All Night and Pittsburgh for Time Travel. The crowd really dug the trap tune so as New Year gift, they have decided to release the track for streaming and for download. Check it out. DRANK!
