It’s for sure Summer time and judging by all the recent drops, it’s going to be a jamming Summer! Today’s Summer tune is a remix of Konshens “Gal A Bubble” contorted by Major Lazer, Bro Safari, and ETC! ETC!. The tune features a very reggae-ton feel over some sunny bass. If you have a convertible, download this song and go bump it in your whip right now! These three producers can bring the heat alone but together they can move mountains. This tune is impressive and will be an instant beach classic! Grab your FREE download and have a great day!

Wouldn’t it be something if an event the size of X Games came to our hometown of Detroit? Well, the dream may be more of a reality now that Detroit is one of four finalists to be the next host for the Summer X Games in 2014, 15′, and 16′ thanks to Kevin Krease & Garret Koehler who took their passion to the internet and gathered a huge following. There couldn’t be a city who needs an event like this more than Detroit and to see our bid go this far is great. It is time now, to step up to the plate and begin supporting the bid like you couldn’t have thought of. Up against Chicago, Charlotte, and Austin, we have a great chance to show the World that not only is our urban playground the perfect venue for the X Games but our community is the perfect demographic for this event. With the support of seemingly every Detroit representative and business owner, the team has been able to build credit for Detroit and will hopefully soon call this city the proud home of the Summer X Games!
Today, the XGamesDetroit crew released this stunning official video documenting a taste of our urban landscape meshed with insane extreme sports. We hope you find this as amazing as we do and we also hope you can join the cause!

It looks like fans attending Electric Forest this June are in for a special treat. For the first time since the opening of the Double JJ Ranch as a festival site, the infamous Sherwood Forest will be expanding in size! In honor of the upgrade, the festival has invited artists from all over the globe to participate in the Electric Forest 2013 ‘Plug In’ Program. The program gives participants the chance to have their proposed art installation sponsored and showcased by the festival. Planning on only granting one winner, the support for the program was evidently overwhelming leaving the Plug In team with the chance to select a few more winners. Beginning with The Cerebrum of Sherwood Forest, the first selection, the team will now select 3 new installations to join the Cerebrum creation which is the brainchild of Imago Collective.
Today we are excited to announce the second winner to become sponsored. The Electric Garden installation spawned from the unique and creatively charged minds of Laura Edelman and Dave Sumberg or otherwise known as Das’LaLa. The installation is “an interactive, electronic, touch-sensitive garden that glows brightly upon human touch”. Described as an electroluminescent field, The Electric Garden is guaranteed to be the perfect addition to The Sherwood Forest. We are super stoked to see what the rest of the winners have in store for us.
Electric Forest 2013 is taking place in Rothbury, Michigan from June 27th-30th. To learn more about the Plug In program click here. Tickets are on sale now and moving swiftly. For more information and for the full music lineup check out our link here! We hope to see you in the Forest!!

About 15 minutes ago, Pete Tong took to his Facebook page to announce that Daft Punk will be joining him on the airwaves for this Friday’s edition of his BBC Radio One show. We are not quite clear on the details of the show but we do know that if it is anything like their last BBC visit in 97′ where they recorded their infamous essential mix, we will be in store for a treat. We can hopefully expect to hear some exclusive listens of their upcoming album Random Access Memoriesand for that we will be sure to stay tuned to our radios come this Friday night at 9 pm.

Bringing the second volume of their mixtape series, Death To Genres Vol. 2: Europe, to the masses, GTA has put together an hour of straight fire. Most of the tunes are either originals, remixes, bootlegs, mashups, or edits done by GTA themselves adding the personal touch to the entire hour. We are ready to rage with this mix.
