FESTY NEWS: Camp Bisco Releases Artist By Day Lineup & Silent Disco Lineup

It’s getting to be that time of the Summer when we plan our annual trip to New York for the massive Camp Bisco Music Festival. This year, the festival promises to keep it’s audience at full attention. Starting with a lineup spanning across all musical genres led by The Disco Biscuits, Bassnectar, Passion Pit, STS9, and Animal Collective, Camp Bisco scored an ace with talent.

Priding itself as a festival that is always a step ahead, Camp Bisco has organized epic environments through features like their Curated Tents & Silent Disco. This year, the tents will include the OWSLA vs. BoysNoize Records tent and will feature artists such as Flux Pavilion, ℧Z, Dillon Francis, and of course, Boys Noize, The French Express Records Tent featuring label owner Perseus and Moon Boots, and the third stage featuring our good friends at This Song Is Sick presenting a special collection of artists including: HeRobust, Heroes x Villains, Congorock, Crizzly, Gramatik, and Dirtyphonics (Live). The Silent Disco is nothing to be missed featuring an all-star lineup captained by a very special DJ set from Passion Pit and followed by artists like Manic Focus, Horizon Wireless, Russ Liquid, and others. On top of all of this, Camp Bisco will showcase a rare live set from the bass lords of, Destroid. All in all, the music at Camp Bisco will be intense.

Saturday Only tickets will go on sale Saturday, June 15th at 10 a.m. for $90. A very limited allotment of General Admission tickets are still available for $185, before raising to the last minute price of $199.

FESTY NEWS: Spring Awakening Music Festival In 3 Days! (Map, Daily Schedule, After Parties, & More)

In just a few short days, Curated Music will join our friends at React Presents as well as tens of thousands of others to inhabit the beautiful and massive Chicago Bear’s Soldier Field for the second annual Spring Awakening Music Festival. Taking note from last year, SAMF 2013 promises to impress with an additional day of raging. Captained by Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, and Moby, the 2013 Spring Awakening lineup offers sounds for everyone to dance to and discover. We are very excited to catch all of the action and we will be sure to keep you posted with all things SAMF!

The party can’t stop once Soldier Field closes it’s doors each night, so React Presents is keeping the nights going into the early morning with a handful of epic after parties. EVENT PREVIEW: Dirtybird Players Hit Detroit’s Movement with Back 2 Back Sets (THIS WILL SELL OUT) [Saturday, May 25th]

Memorial Day weekend in Detroit marks perhaps the best time of the year to see our city shine. With Movement Electronic Music Festival playing host to an expected 100,000 festival goers, the nightlife scene in the city is set for one hell of a weekend. Parties will be raging until the very early hours of the morning in venues all across the city. Standing out as the obvious “must-see” event for the weekend, though, is Nightsneak and RBMA’s Dirtybird Players show, featuring back 2 back sets from Dirtybird front-men Claude Vonstroke vs. Justin Martin, as well as Worthy vs. Leroy Peppers, J. Phlip vs. Kill Frenzy, and Ardalan vs. Justin Jay. This is what we would consider as a “once in a lifetime” chance to catch some of the most fitting tunes of the weekend all under one roof. You can expect to dance, drink, and experience some true dirty Detroit vibes because all of the Players are ready to come out strong come this Saturday. The Dirtybird Players show is an official after party for Movement and will be hosted at the historic and beautiful Fillmore at 2115 Woodward. Tickets are still available here but this event is very likely going to sell out so don’t you sleep on this!
