NEW TUNE: TNGHT – “Acrylics”

Strap on your space boots boys and girls, it’s time to get stompin! Lunice & Hudson Mohawke a.k.a TNGHT have released an incredibly bangin’ track entitled Acrylics. I’m not too sure what type of extra-curricular activities these Canadian/Euro producers participate in while they are collaborating however, I encourage them to keep it up because the end results make me want to never sleep again. The mega trap beat is the most appropriate soundtrack for a battle between alien dinosaurs and zombie sea creatures during the second coming of Christ. As one listener’s comment on soundcloud suggested, it is music for “the boss level on Mario.” Boss indeed. If you like this song, I recommend you listen to TNGHT’s self-titled EP. With 172,111 plays in 2 days on Soundcloud, I expect to hear bits of Acrylics in many late-night tent trap DJ sets this summer. Rage!

NEW RELEASE: Flosstradamus x DJ Sliink – ‘Nomads’ EP (2 New Orginals + ƱZ Remix)

It is time to take a break from your Tuesday. Turn your speakers up or put in your ear buds because we have a doozy for you. Trap music allstars Flosstradamus and DJ Sliink have teamed up to officially release Nomads EP. The 3 track EP backed by Fool’s Gold Records features two originals, a high energy bass banger entitled “Crowd CTRL” and a familiar sounding tune “Test Me” that has been popping up in setlists for both artists recently. Finally to cap off the release, ƱZ joins force with the duo to remix “Test Me” turning it into a technical masterpiece. It is great to watch the three of these trap taste makers team up for a release like this and we surely hope there is more to come! NEW TUNE: Kill Paris – “Slap Me” (GRiZ Remix) [FREE Download]

It’s time to bring your attention to Kill Paris. Due to drop his debut To a New Earth EP with OWSLA on February 26th, the L.A. based producer is ready to take his talents to the next level. The EP will feature three original tunes entitled “To A New Earth”, “Slap Me”, & “Catch You”, and will also reportedly feature remixes from GRiZ, Gramatik, K Theory, Candyland and Robert DeLong. Late last week, OWSLA decided to give us a taste of the album by dropping the GRiZ remix of “Slap Me” on their Soundcloud for FREE download with an exclusive through ThisSongIsSick. The funky tune gets an electro makeover from GRiZ who vibes off the funk feel while taking the intensity of the track to another level. We would love to hear more collaborations from Kill Paris and GRiZ; GRiZParis?? Either way, we will be listening to this remix all week until To a New Earth EP comes out. Who’s with us!?! Cheers!

To celebrate the 40k “Like” milestone on his Facebook, bass mechanic Minnesota has released his super epic remix of Cassie’s “Me & You”. The remix features an electrifying feel and a melodic synth line from Minnesota that gives the Cassie tune a bass music feel. NEW TUNE: Kanye West – “Cold” (TNGHT Remix) [Radio Rip]

TNGHT (Lunice & Hudson Mohawke) have made it clear that they are huge Kanye West fans. First releasing an edit of Kanye’s track “Clique” along with a video shot live at a Brooklyn TNGHT show featuring a cameo from Kanye himself, and now featuring their edit of the Kanye West track “Cold” in their Boiler Room Radio set. The tune is bonkers as is everything that TNGHT touches. There has been no official announcements of release but we are sure going to be bumping this radio rip in the meantime. We hope you bump it too!

Trap all-stars, Salva and Brenmar are getting ready to hit the road together for a West Coast and Canadian tour. In honor of the upcoming dates, the two have collaborated and released (for Free Download) “Let Me Bang”. This tune is some ghetto tech, four to the floor, booty bounce, trap music that makes you want to get down and dirty with every sexy person on the dancefloor.
