When our favorite Bay Area trill-star Mimosa told us he was going to bring something different and new to the trap game self described as “future trill music” we weren’t quite sure what he meant. We watched his live sets throughout the summer, we listened to his single “SWRV“, and we were already all over his “Future Trill Mixtape“. We were convinced; Tigran Mimosa is the most unique and original bass producer in the game today and he had some tricks up his sleeve. Looking back, we realize that Mimosa saw this modern trap movement coming the whole time. I mean, he was making trap beats while most of us were struggling to pass our first high school exams. That is what Mimosa meant when he says “future trill music”. It is not what you can expect, it does not fall into one genre, and it’s as advanced as electronic bass productions get. The album features tunes that remind us of why we fell in love with the gangster producer years ago.
