NEW MIX: Late Night Radio – ‘Grassroots California Mixtape’ (The 710 Cup Edition)

Prepping for a hefty Summer, Late Night Radio, or LNR, recorded this mini-mix (racking up a fitting 7 minutes and 10 seconds) for his upcoming gig at Grassroots California and Hitman Glass Summer Festival, The 710 Cup. FESTY NEWS: Grassroots California X Hitman Glass – ‘The 710 Cup’ To Make Giant Debut In Denver This July (Tickets On Sale Now, Music Lineup Out, & More)

883507_280334322100723_353412902_oThere is an event brewing in the Colorado mountains that is beginning to grab the attention of smokers, patients, artists, and ragers alike. This July, the progressive clothing company based in Denver, Grassroots California, along with glass innovators Hitman Glass, will team up to produce an event that is certain to make a splash in the medicinal marijuana community; at the same time, the event is also a giant music festival featuring talent that has us drooling.

Beginning on July 12th and running through the 14th, The 710 Cup will showcase a “multiday celebration for cannabis concentration”. Curated Music will be out in full force to see what shenanigans we can get into during this magnificent event. During the three days, judges will sample and score a number of entries from competitors across the state while attendees will enjoy live glass blowing from some of the biggest names in the industry plus a music lineup that will knock you off your feet.

On top of all this madness, all week long there will be parties, after-parties, and after-after-parties, to keep the good times going and you better believe the nails will never cool down. So, fill up your torches and grab your passes for The 710 Cup because you do not want to miss out on this ground-breaking event. Oh and the judges passes come with a Hitman Phase II mini-rig! <3

NEW TUNE: Late Night Radio – “Mood Swings” (FREE Download)

artworks-000045007609-uvqgo9-t500x500There are very few emerging producers that have me as excited as Late Night Radio.  December marked the release Concrete Collage, and while most artists take a little breather from posting new material on soundcloud after an EP release, LNR has been dishing out the music full force.  The past few months since Concrete Collage he’s dropped a mix, two collaborations with Robotic Pirate Monkey, and tons of singles.

The amount of music dropped still isn’t as impressive as the uniqueness of each song and the quality of production, this holds true for his latest single, Mood Swings.  This epic track captures Late Night Radio’s signature sound with a blend of a groovin’ hip hop beat, a massive synth driving the song, and soulful samples run through some LNR magic making them both eerie and beautiful.  Mood Swings is the perfect track to put on while kickin it with the homies, or getting your rage face on in preparation for festival season.

Late Night Radio has been keeping busy with shows in the Denver area, opening for big names like GRiZ and Michal Menert.  He’s also the line up for this summer’s highly anticipated 710 Cup.  All of his music is available for free on his soundcloud.   Make sure to follow him, because he’s dropping awesome new tunes all the time.
