FINALLY!!!!! We can all celebrate a bit because Daft Punk has finally and officially resurfaced! Coupled with just about as much anticipation as one single album can contain, Daft Punks upcomingRandom Access Memories album will clearly be one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the past years. Now, we are blessed to be able to purchase the first single from the album, “Get Lucky“. The tune which features Pharrell Williams and also some studio work from Nile Rogers (pretty sure), is everything we have wanted from Daft Punk. It is as if they took the last 6 years to slow cook this album into a succulent and perfected gem. We will be keeping you posted with all Daft Punk news but for now, check out “Get Lucky” to hold you over!
When we first heard word of A-Trak and Tommy Trash’s collaboration, we we’re stunned that two of our favorite producers decided to get in the studio together. The result, a smashing tune entitled “Tuna Melt” may be our favorite dance track of the recent times and now to make the collaboration even better, our friends at Potato Will Eat You have premiered the Official Music Video for “Tuna Melt”. Featuring an insanely kinetic and perpetual story line of mouse-trap proportioned puzzles and traps, the video is ridiculously clever and original. Fool’s Gold is at it again!! Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think!

Every now and then two great producers team up for a hit. It is clear that this is the case when Deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner‘s decided to collaborate on Mau5′s Album Title Goes Here, on a tune entitled “Channel 42″. Now, Mau5trap and crew want to show fans of the tune what’s up with some banging remixes from badmen GTA, Canadian producer Eekkoo, and Scotland’s own Nom De Strip. The remixes complete the release offering an assortment of vibes from the hit tune. We expect and hope to hear these remixes dropped by DJs large to small all throughout this Summer. We dig all the “Channel 42″ remixes and we think you will too! Grab your DL now from iTunes or Beatport and check out a couple of the remixes below:
Since the drop of their teaser video a couple weeks ago along with the announcement of the release we have been patiently awaiting the drop of Hot Sauce EP from our favorite Canadian bass producers Zeds Dead. A couple days ago, Zeds Dead have released a minimix of the album to give their fans a taste, it held us over for a minute, but nothing can do justice to the full release in entirety. This is the most eclectic and wide array of sounds we have heard from the talented duo ever perhaps. Spanning across all genres of music, Zeds Dead can validate themselves as producers adept to any scene. Hot Sauce EP is music we are most definitely getting down to and we know you will too. You can purchase the EP on iTunes and Beatport and you can catch Zeds Dead kicking off festival season early at Lollapalooza Brazil and Lollapalooza Argentina in March and April respectively, as well as a posted stop at Chicago’s React Presents: Spring Awakening Music Festival in June. We also expect to see them on a large number of other festivals and tour dates throught the year. Hot Suace EP will be cranking on our speakers!
Bay-Area beat baker Dailon has unleashed a stellar tune for the world tonight. His new track “Waves” is a beautiful soulful beat that reminds us why Dailon is one of the greatest west-coast beat producers on the rise. The funky sounds of the tune are accented through smooth down beat drums making this tune a hot one. We are hoping to hear more from Dailon and perhaps even some material for release soon. Bump this on your Sunday night. Cheers!
Quickly growing to be one of our favorite artists, Mr. Carmack has astonished us again with yet another amazing release. His Life/Death EP is the latest to the Mr. Carmack catalog. The three track EP is available off the producer’s Bandcamp page. Featuring “Life”, a dirty banging beat, “Throw Up”, the sexy down tempo beat, and “Death”, the dreamy mix of the two, Life/Death EP has a very distinct and well implemented theme. Mr. Carmack has just gotten started. We are so excited to watch this artist raise to popularity! Cheers!

Zeds Dead is getting ready to unload five new tracks to the world through the Mad Decent release of Hot Sauce EP. The release offers a listen into a completely newer sounding Zeds Dead. Wanting to share the excitement Zeds Dead and Mad Decent have released a preview minimix of the EP through Soundcloud (below). The veteran Canadian duo offer a variety of sounds through a number of different genres, exercising their abilities to produce diverse tunes in the studio. Zeds Dead plans to team up with choreographer Benjamin Millepied, from the film Black Swan, to release a music video for a track on the EP. This will be a huge release for the Zeds Dead camp and will be a great way to keep fans happy through the cold winter. We can’t wait to catch Zeds Dead on the festival circuit all summer long! Cheers!
