The result, a smashing tune entitled “Tuna Melt” may be our favorite dance track of the recent times and now to make the collaboration even better, our friends at Potato Will Eat You have premiered the Official Music Video for “Tuna Melt”. Featuring an insanely kinetic and perpetual story line of mouse-trap proportioned puzzles and traps, the video is ridiculously clever and original. Fool’s Gold is at it again!! NEW VIDEO: Potato Will Eat You Premieres ‘BANG!’ (Ft. Skrillex & Boys Noize) and Official Trailer For ‘Blow Your Head’ Series

Packaged with a couple unique Youtube snippets and a very popular hashtag #PotatoWillEatYou, we were itching to know the idea behind this strange little potato character popping up on all of our news feeds. A few days later our speculations were put to rest and we were excited to learn that Potato Will Eat You is a brand new Youtube Music Network that will rival the golden days of MTV. The network will play host to all original video series including titles, ”Blow Your Head”, “Cosmo’s Crates”, “Short Cuts”, “Listen Up! With Ralph Moore”, “Video Killed The Radio”, “Big Time #1 Super Adventures With Fat Jew”, and “BANG!” plus tons of video & audio premieres, DJ mixes, and much more. The first videos to be released by the future media hub is the first episode of “BANG!” (features tons of amazing Detroit footage) and a preview of “Blow Your Head” and we are very impressed! We will be keeping our eyes peeled to Potato Will Eat You with hopes that they can restore MUSIC into videos! #PotatoWillEatYou

FESTY NEWS: Electric Forest Announces 2013 Artist Lineup (Tickets Moving Fast)

Featuring a roster that is captained by The String Cheese Incident, the third annual Michigan mega-camp-out offers an extremely diverse lineup that is all-embracing of the best established and up-&-coming talent in every genre of festival music. Electric Forest is settling for nothing but the highest demanded artists for this year’s lineup while still succeeding in procuring the freshest artists from the underground. Establishing itself as much more than just an electronic music festival, Electric Forest 2013 welcomes artists, Passion Pit, Empire of the Sun, Dipatch, Danny Brown, Greensky Bluegrass, and many others to take the stage while dance music veterans Pretty Lights, Knife Party, A-Trak, Tommy Trash, Michal Menert, and tons more will hold down the electro side of things. Electric Forest has expanded the size of the festival grounds and that can only mean one thing: BIGGER PARTY! After the release of the beautiful music video, and an extremely special “unplugged” performance of the song on David Letterman, the incredible track is being reworked by some of the finest producers in the game. Scheduled for release on Februray 12th, the “Clarity” Remixes Compilation will feature edits from Tiesto, Felix Cartal, Brillz, Torro Torro, and we expect others as well. In the meantime, we will be bumping these sneak peaks of the compilation! We really love the diversity in remixes and sounds from each producer. Fool’s Gold founder and front man A-Trak sits down with HipHopSite.Com &  WeAllHitPlay.Com host DJ Pizzo to discuss the past, present, & future of Fool’s Gold Records, what we can expect from projects like Duck Sauce & Danny Brown, and even some insight to his infamous Steve Angello collaboration in this two part interview.

A-Trak & Fool’s Gold Records had a HUGE year in 2012. With Fool’s Gold hosting takeovers at large scale music festivals such as HARD Summer, Camp Bisco, Electric Zoo, and Holy Ship, plus A-Trak featured at dozens of prolific headlining dates across the world in 2012, the two entities have definitely set themselves up to have an enormous coming year!
