FESTY NEWS: Spring Awakening Music Festival Reveals Headliners

While we were all partying away New Year’s Eve, React Presents had their street team distributing the flyer shown above to thousands of attendees at select sold-out events produced by the production power-house. It is evident that Bassnectar and Calvin Harris will be among 100 others on the 2013 lineup for Chicago’s Spring Awakening Music Festival held at Soldier Field, the legendary stadium for the Chicago Bears.

Spring Awakening Music Festival will take place June 15 & 16th 2013 in Chicago, IL at Soldier Field. We are not sure when the rest of the lineup will be revealed but you can be sure to find the announcement here as soon as it is public!

Obviously one of our favorite producers of all time, Freddy Todd ended 2012 with a huge release on Adapted Records, “Sick In The City, Alive In The Woods” available for purchase and free download. We have ranked Freddy as the king of Glitch Hop and his recent mix for the special 75th episode Memekast proves why. This intense mix packs 19 tunes all worked on in some form by Freddy, including remixes of Vibesquad, Stephan Jacobs, and Dysphemic, plus a ton of originals.
