GRAMATIK RELEASES THE AGE OF REASON:

After a long await & an enormous amount of anticipation, it’s finally here: Gramatik‘s The Age Of Reasona 15-track musical masterpiece that has left us with our jaws on the floor since we hit play early last week. From the get-go, it’s very clear that we are listening to something special. Gramatik captivates us through trailblazing combinations of funk and soul fused together with hip-hop and electro accents to create the most striking sounds for any environment at any time. Hit after hit, TAOR feels as if we are listening to the artists’ “greatest hits” album, a compilation of hit singles. It is way to hard to choose a favorite (but DAMN “Faraway” & “It’s Just A Ride” are so sexy), and between Cherub, Illimntr, Exmag, Gibbz, Eric, Krasno, Orlando Napier, and Eskobars, this album is full of class acts that help secure the release as the musical heavyweight that it is. We highly suggest you grab this album and listen to it like we are listening to it; over and over again.

Going along with Gramatik’s concept of “freeing music by making music free”, you can download The Age Of Reason today for FREE via the media megalords at BitTorrent and Gramatik’s in-house LowTemp RecordsTAOR is also available through Soundcloud, iTunes, and Beatport.

The album’s reception party, a sold-out packed show in NYC at the infamous Best Buy Theater with special guests Late Night Radio, TOKiMONSTA, Branx and Gibbz, was quite the way to launch TAOR, and it’s hopeful that we can expect a strong tour in the near future. We will have to stay sane until those announcements while we gather our excitement for Gramatik’s headlining performance at Red Rocks on May 17th, including the ten-piece funk band, Lettuce, along with Lowtemp label-mates Exmag, Branx, and Gibbz. Fan club pre-sale tickets will be available this Wednesday, January 29th at 2pm EST, and general admission tickets go on sale this Saturday, February 1st, at 12pm EST HERE.
