FESTY NEWS: Insomniac Brings EDC To Chicago Officially (Dates, Ticket, and Camping Info)

Well lady’s and gentleman, it is officially official: Insomniac‘s Electric Daisy Carnival tour will make a stop at Chicago’s Chicagoland Speedway on Memorial Day Weekend of 2013. Tickets will go on sale for the giant spectacle on Jan. 23rd at 2pm EST. The press release for the inaugural Chicago festival includes confirmation of the Memorial Day dates (May 24, 25 & 26), the ticketing information (GA = $175 & VIP = $299),  and for the first time in EDC history, CAMPING. The new camping option for EDC Chicago will be priced at $295 for genreral admission and $419 for VIP and will include your festival pass (also early entry for setup). We quote the release below:

“As Insomniac continues to grow, our first priority is listening to our fans and they’ve made us feel confident that EDC has a home in Chicago,” said Insomniac CEO, Pasquale Rotella. “This is the first EDC that will offer fans the opportunity to camp while enjoying the festival and I know that the Chicagoland Speedway is the ideal location. I’m really excited we’ve added Chicago to the EDC family of festivals.”
