GEM & JAM FESTIVAL OFFERS MUCH MORE THAN JUST MUSIC:

It’s Gem Season in Tucson again. As gem and mineral vendors from around the world flood into the Arizona desert to set up shop, music and art lovers are preparing themselves for another exciting Gem & Jam festival, looking forward to the best year yet. Emancipator Ensemble, Papadosio, and Michal Menert Trio headlining is enough to excite any fan of live electronic music, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. This will be Michal Menert Trio’s first ever performance, and it looks fellow Super Best Records artists, Late Night Radio and Krooked Drivers, didn’t want to miss it. Both will perform on the inside stage. We will once again see Random Rab, Thriftworks, and Russ Liquid, all of who have become Gem & Jam staples since the festivals return to 2013. Two more returning staples, Alex and Allyson Grey will be painting live on the main stage. Live painters, world-class gem and jewelry vendors, and flow performers can be found throughout the festival, giving Gem & Jam the truly unique atmosphere it has become known and loved for. With people from all over the country coming to the festival, Gem & Jam still does a great job of showing Arizona pride. Local favorites, Spafford, will close out the festival on the inside the stage. With an exciting blend of music, art, and gemstones there is no better way to kick off your 2015 festival season than heading to Tucson for Gem & Jam.
