artworks-000048702446-cez8ys-t500x500Where the f*ck are your glowsticks? Well crack a fresh pack because Tittsworth & Willy Joy have teamed up on a tune that is pre-dripped in sweat and bodily fluids from a night of straight bumping, grinding, and raving on a 110 degree dancefloor. Their new track, “BAWSE“, is ready to blow up your speakers and fill the club with a sense of rage. Drawing on the elements of electronic music that we here at Curated Music find most appealing, Tittsworth & Willy Joy have brought together a tune that packs a powerful punch for any environment. Seeing how both these producer entities are on the cusp of leaving a giant mark in the dance world, it is very fitting that the they both team up for this hit. NEW TUNE: MuzzY – “Italian Ratchet Funk” (Free Download)

artworks-000048213082-30k71f-t500x500There seems to be another young and aspiring producer/dj hailing from Michigan who seems to be just about everywhere right now and that man is Dan Hacker or better known to his loyal growing fanbase as MuzzY. Staying on his grind 24/7, MuzzY is determined to manipulate his sounds in ways that will get listeners all around the globe instantly addicted. It seems as though MuzzY is set on creating tunes that are unique & far from being able to categorize or group into just one genre. The true music fan in MuzzY shows through his diverse and increasingly eloquent catalog of beats. Performing live as ‘MuzzY’ or alongside GRiZ (as live/production guitarist), the talented instrumentalist is on the brink of some big things. You can expect to see this guy on a stage near you.

This past week, MuzzY released his latest tune entitled “Italian Ratchet Funk“. The newest edition to his acclaimed ‘Ratchet Funk’ series/style, this trill tune takes us on a ride through a 1920’s speak easy and into the seat of a bumping poker game filled with gold, liquor, cash, drugs, and women. Made for the big speakers, “Italian Ratchet Funk” has that extra bump to get you through your week. We could see this track filling that “epic trap break” in any dj’s set list and we predict that this will be the case. On top of all of this, you can grab MuzzY’s “Italian Ratchet Funk” now for FREE download. Make sure you grab yours and let the man know what you think!

FESTY NEWS: Electric Forest 2013 To Upgrade Size Of Sherwood Forest As ‘Plug In’ Program Allows For More Art (Human Avatar Re-Cap Video)

Screen-Shot-2013-02-20-at-4.52.10-PMIt looks like fans attending Electric Forest this June are in for a special treat. For the first time since the opening of the Double JJ Ranch as a festival site, the infamous Sherwood Forest will be expanding in size! In honor of the upgrade, the festival has invited artists from all over the globe to participate in the Electric Forest 2013 ‘Plug In’ Program. The program gives participants the chance to have their proposed art installation sponsored and showcased by the festival. Planning on only granting one winner, the support for the program was evidently overwhelming leaving the Plug In team with the chance to select a few more winners. Beginning with The Cerebrum of Sherwood Forest, the first selection, the team will now select 3 new installations to join the Cerebrum creation which is the brainchild of Imago Collective.

Today we are excited to announce the second winner to become sponsored. The Electric Garden installation spawned from the unique and creatively charged minds of Laura Edelman and Dave Sumberg or otherwise known as Das’LaLa. The installation is “an interactive, electronic, touch-sensitive garden that glows brightly upon human touch”. Described as an electroluminescent field, The Electric Garden is guaranteed to be the perfect addition to The Sherwood Forest. We are super stoked to see what the rest of the winners have in store for us.

Electric Forest 2013 is taking place in Rothbury, Michigan from June 27th-30th. To learn more about the Plug In program click here. Tickets are on sale now and moving swiftly. For more information and for the full music lineup check out our link here! We hope to see you in the Forest!!
